RN727 stair edging (nosing) comprises a PVC-u channel in a wide range of colours with a choice of insert material. It can be used in conjunction with floorcoverings from all major manufacturers and is suitable for all commercial applications.

This kinked face, double channel profile features a 107mm tread and 49mm riser, with a 7mm gauge ideal for use with carpet. When specifying double channel stair edgings, both inserts should be of the same colour and should be of contrasting colour to the surrounding floor finish. When selecting RN727 it is recommended that channel and insert colours are matched to provide a single solid band of colour that contrasts with the surrounding floorcovering and defines the step edge, in line with BS 8300-2:2018 and ADM 2010 guidelines.
