Traditional PVC-u Hardnose

Traditional PVC-u Hardnose - an extensive range of attractive and hardwearing stair edgings (stair nosings) comprising coloured PVC-u channels and matching factory bonded slip-resistant inserts that can be used to complement any design scheme. Ideal for use in conjunction with floorcoverings from all major manufacturers and suitable for all commercial and most industrial applications.

Traditional PVC-u Hardnose profiles are available with Interior, Xtra-grip, Xtra-grip Plus and Interior Grained inserts in a wide choice of colours. Selecting the channel and insert in the same colour provides the ideal solution for creating a single, solid band of colour that contrasts with the surrounding floorcovering to define the edge of the step, in line with BS 8493:2008+A1:2010 (Light Reflectance Values - LRVs), BS 8300-2:2018 and Approved Document M 2010 guidelines. All Gradus stair edging channel and insert colours are measured for LRVs and the measurements are shown upon selection of the colour.

Channels are available in either a satin or metallic finish. The DDA and RNRC profiles feature an extended insert design to provide additional slip-resistance around the leading edge of the stair edging.
