ELA12740 stair edging (nosing) comprises an aluminium channel with insert material. It can be used in conjunction with floorcoverings from all major manufacturers and is suitable for all commercial and most industrial applications.
This square, double channel profile featuring a 96mm tread and 35mm riser, with a 4mm gauge ideal for use with carpet, LVT or resilient flooring with bevelled underlay in heavy used areas.
The ELINS40 inserts are supplied separately from the channel for on-site fitting. This conceals the fixings, eliminating the need for screw head cover plugs. ELINS40 inserts should be specified separately.
When specifying double channel stair edgings, both inserts should be of the same colour and should be of contrasting colour to the surrounding floor finish. All Gradus stair edgings have been measured for LRVs (Light Reflectance Values).
Supplied in mill finish aluminium as standard. Anodised, polished or chromed options also available upon request.
