TEX11R is a heavy-duty aluminium stair edging (nosing) featuring extremely durable slip-resistant inserts.
It is a square, single channel, ramp back profile and is surface-mounted onto the substrate.
It is suitable for use in exterior areas or heavily trafficked internal stairways close to entrances and access points such as motorway foot bridges, railway stations, airports, sports stadia, outdoor arenas and heavy industry.
The inserts on the tread and riser should match each other and contrast with the surrounding floor finish by a difference of 30 points on the Light Reflectance Value (LRV) scale in order to meet the guidelines in Approved Document M (ADM) of The Building Regulations 2010 and BS 8300-2:2018.
Supplied in mill finish aluminium.
