TEX range
The TEX range of heavy-duty aluminium stair edgings (nosings) incorporate extremely durable slip-resistant inserts.
All TEX profiles have performed well in accelerated wear tests and provide a low potential for slip in both dry conditions (Pendulum Test Value PTV Av. 76) and wet conditions (Pendulum Test Value PTV Av. 67). Note: a PTV greater than 36 is required to offer a low risk of slip. All Gradus inserts have been independently tested for slip-resistance by the Health & Safety Laboratory (HSL).
Profiles are suitable for exterior use and heavily trafficked internal stairways close to entrances and access points, performing well in accelerated UV weathering tests as well as being chemical resistance tested to ISO175. The TEX range is the ideal choice for specification in areas such as motorway foot bridges, railway stations, airports, sports stadia, outdoor arenas and heavy industry.
TEX profiles feature pre-bonded inserts and can be supplied pre-drilled with visible fixings. Profiles are supplied cut to size up to a maximum length of 2.75m.
