SHR40W Handrail

The SHR40W handrail comprises an aluminium retainer with a Wood effect finish, anodised aluminium brackets and PVC-u accessories including returns, inside and outside corners, variable angle and end stops. The PVC-u accessories are supplied with black reveals in an anti-bacterial finish to provide neat, smooth joints.
The SHR40W features a 40mm diameter handrail and offers a smooth, comfortable grip in line with guidance in HBN 00-04, HBN 00-10, BS 8300-2:2018 and Approved Documents K & M of The Building Regulations 2010.
The SHR40W handrail is available in 5 Wood effects and is supplied with PVC-u accessories in 32 colour options, Gradus recommends the use of Flint 032, Pebble 011 or Granite 004.
Note: Handrails need to be easily identified and located for support and wayfinding and should be selected in a colour that has a Light Reflectance Value (LRV) that is 30 points different from the surrounding surface. All Gradus handrail colours have been measured to provide LRVs to provide the specifier with the information required to ensure a suitable visual contrast is achieved.
