Gradus Launches Esplanade 8500 Primary Barrier Matting
Click on image to enlargeEsplanade 8500 has been specially developed for use in both interior and exterior environments subject to heavy foot and wheeled traffic, such as shopping centres, supermarkets and railway stations.
Available in 12mm and 18mm thicknesses and in open and closed construction, the new matting system comprises rubber wipers and silver anodised aluminium linking strips. The rubber wipers, available as either single or double, are ideal for scraping off dirt and are available in plain rubber or rubber interwoven with nylon fibres, with a choice of two colours - grey or black. The silver anodised aluminium linking strips help to reduce strobing in brightly lit environments.

The new primary barrier mat can be manufactured to most shapes and sizes, on approval of a template, and can be installed alongside Gradus’ Boulevard secondary barrier carpet. When installed as a true rectangle or square, the mat can be reversed, which extends the life of the product.
