KA386XXL PPS

KA386XXL is a two-piece, ramp top profile from the PPS system, suitable for joining floorcoverings of different heights. The profile protects the edge of wood & wood laminate flooring, ceramic tile and carpet (between 9mm and 18mm thickness) and provides a safe transition to adjacent lower surfaces.
KA386XXL is available in a matt Silver anodised finish, and is ideal for interior use in medium traffic applications e.g. offices and restaurants.
The PPS system utilises aluminium bases and tops with a unique patented linking screw which allows the height to be adjusted to suit most types of flooring.
Tops & bases are supplied pre-packed in lengths of 2700mm (including fixings - Torx screws supplied for safer installation).
When installed with ceramics, wood or wood laminate flooring a suitable gap must be left between the profile base and the flooring to allow for natural expansion. If used with carpet, the compressed thickness of the carpet should always be a tight fit to the internal gauge of the combined top/base profile.
