KA586H is a two-piece, ramp top profile suitable for joining floorcoverings of different heights (0-6mm, 12-18mm). The profile protects the edge of wood, wood laminate flooring and ceramic tile (between 12mm and 18mm thickness) and provides a safe transition to adjacent lower surfaces.
KB586H is available in four wood effects and is ideal for interior use in medium pedestrian traffic applications e.g. offices and restaurants.
Tops & bases are supplied pre-packed in lengths of 2700mm.
When installed with ceramics, wood or wood laminate flooring a suitable gap must be left between the profile base and the flooring to allow for natural expansion. If used with carpet, the compressed thickness of the carpet should always be a tight fit to the internal gauge of the combined top/base profile.
