GRADUS ADDS RANDOM LAY DESIGN TILES TO ITS PORTFOLIO
Two exciting ranges of random lay carpet tiles are now available exclusively from Gradus, offering design creativity, easy installation and a choice of contemporary new colourways.
Jaku and Kata are ideal for introducing a modern look to premium office and education environments, thanks to their stylish appearance. In addition, being random-lay, they offer the opportunity to create interesting design alternatives to traditional broadloom designs.
Gradus has signed an exclusive agreement with CTF, a UK-based company working under licence from US supplier Tandus. This allows Gradus to act as the sole UK distributor of both ranges, previously known as Haiku and Havoc respectively.
Architects, designers and flooring contractors can choose from 18 tranquil colour options in the Jaku range, inspired by the calm serenity of Zen monasteries, including naturals such as Meijin (meaning genius) and blues such as Bodhi (meaning enlightenment).
In addition, the Kata range is available in a choice of 13 new trend colours. Designed to complement contemporary interiors, the colourways have been inspired by the peaceful composure of Japanese martial arts. Options include greens such as Kami (meaning God or divine) and greys such as Judan (meaning tenth degree black belt).
The design of the Kata tile is entirely random; each one is unique. Because there is no set layout, installation is quick and easy, thereby saving time and reducing wastage. The tiles have a strong flammability rating and have been tested to Class Bfl-S1.
Commenting on the new additions to the Gradus portfolio, Floorcoverings Marketing Manager Pamela Cairns said: “These are fantastic additions to the Gradus collection. Customers can now have the flexibility of design offered by random lay but backed up with the first-rate technical support and customer service you would expect from Gradus. The tiles are also now available in exclusive new colour palettes, so that the creativity options are even wider.
“The latest research shows that design tiles are taking a bigger and bigger share of the carpet tile market. Functionality and performance are still really important considerations but styling is now a key consideration when it comes to choosing carpet. This trend for design tiles is predicted to continue and these latest additions demonstrate Gradus’ commitment to offering an extensive range of floorcovering solutions to satisfy market needs.”
Gradus offers a comprehensive range of floorcoverings, including cork flooring, barrier matting, loose lay vinyl and printed, polypropylene and nylon carpets.
