Gradus Sponsors Apprentice of the Year Competition
Now in its second year, the CFA / CFJ Apprentice of the Year competition recognises the achievements of apprentices and aims to encourage more young people to join the flooring industry.
This year’s winner was Jakub Arciuszkiewicz of Hyde Flooring Co Ltd in Preston, who received a cheque for £500 from the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) during the CFJ Awards lunch held at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire.
Gradus provided a cordless power drill, carpet steam roller, Stanley knife and branded Gradus polo shirt as part of the specialist tool kit prize which Jakub was presented with at Flooring Industry Training Association (FITA) Training Centre.
Lynette Bowden, Marketing Projects Manager for Gradus, comments: “We would like to congratulate Jakub for his achievement. We are delighted to be amongst the sponsors of the CFA/CFJ Apprentice of the Year competition as part of their initiative to encourage the training and development of young people in the flooring industry.”
