Black Inserts in Stair Edgings

Black Inserts in Stair Edgings

It's been a long time since Henry Ford said: "You can have any color as long as it's black," when referring to the colour availability of the Ford Model T.

Thankfully that's old news and it's the same for inserts in stair edgings. Often we see black inserts against dark floor coverings, chosen out of habit or fear of showing dirt, rather than through design consideration. Not only is it a missed opportunity to brighten the interior but it can be against Building Regulations.

If you specify or opt to fit our XT aluminium range, you can choose any colour from our offer and pick them up the same day from our partner distributors (or next day from any good flooring distributor). And because you've chosen XT, they can be cleaned more rigorously than other stair edgings that use adhesive to bond the insert.
