BCT16 is a bronze nap trim designed to join different types of floorcovering.
It is typically used to join flooring material such as carpet, carpet tile, traditional carpet with underlay and hard flooring of 6mm height, such as ceramic tiles.
BCT16 is often used in conjunction with a stair edging as a 'binder' bar.
The design of the profile allows the edge of the carpet to be secured and concealed, thus providing a neat finish and protecting the raw edge of the carpet.
The carpet is fitted into the profile and then the top is flattened into the carpet pile to provide a secure fit. It is recommended that the carpet is sealed to reduce the risk of fraying before the profile is flattened down.
BCT16 is available with or without carpet gripper.
