Access 6000 & 5000 17mm Matting - Closed Construction

Access 6000 & 5000 17mm hybrid barrier matting is constructed from a moulded rubber base incorporating ECONYL® regenerated solution dyed nylon wipers.

The rubber base is available in a choice of Black or Grey whilst the wipers, which offer excellent soil and moisture retention, are available in a wide choice of colours from the Boulevard 6000 and Boulevard 5000 secondary barrier matting ranges.

Access is an easy to install mat suitable for smaller mat areas subject to medium foot traffic and light wheeled traffic e.g. in schools, offices and high street shops. Due to its non-metallic nature, Access is ideal for use where electronic tagging systems operate.

The closed construction of the mat allows dirt and moisture to be trapped on the surface of the mat within the wiper and scraper elements. This dirt can then be removed by regular cleaning in addition to periodic deep cleaning. The construction of the fibres within the wipers of the mat allows moisture to evaporate.

17mm Access mats are for recessing in a matwell frame only. Spacer strips (SPA017) are supplied to provide a neat finish to the mat. Access mats are supplied in 0.5m x 2.0m modules and are supplied oversized for shaping and trimming on-site.

Access is tested for dimensional stability, flammability tested to BS4790 and slip-resistance using the HSL ramp test, achieving a low risk of slip.

Access 6000 & 5000 mats have a 7 year warranty (subject to terms and conditions) and are available on the Gradus 5 day manufacturing service.
