BCTXT15 is a bronze nap that can be used as a 'binder' bar in conjunction with a stair edging and provides a neat join between the floorcovering and the stair edging, protecting it from becoming damaged. It is an ideal solution for joining carpet, carpet tile and traditional carpet with underlay.
The design of the profile allows the edge of the carpet to be secured and concealed, thus providing a neat finish and protecting the raw edge of the carpet.
It can be supplied in Polished Bronze or Satin Bronze finishes to match the XT channel options available.
The top is closed using a block of wood and/or rubber mallet. Fixed with screws and adhesive.
The carpet is fitted into the profile and then the top is flattened into the carpet pile to provide a secure fit. It is recommended that the carpet is sealed to reduce the risk of fraying before the profile is flattened down.
BCTXT15 is available with or without carpet gripper.
