TEXE1 is an attachable extension profile featuring a extremely durable slip-resistant insert that is for use with TEX11 and TEX51 stair edgings.

It is a flat, single channel profile with a 6mm gauge.

Multiple pieces of the attachable extension profile (TEXE1) can be joined together to increase the slip-resistance along the depth of the tread.

When using two or more extension profiles (TEXE1), these inserts should be a contrasting colour to the stair edging insert (TEX11 or TEX51) to ensure definition of the step edge.

The extension profile inserts (TEXE1) must always be of the same colour and ideally match the surrounding floor finish if the whole of the tread is not covered.

It is suitable for use in exterior areas or heavily trafficked internal stairways close to entrances and access points such as motorway foot bridges, railway stations, airports, sports stadia, outdoor arenas and heavy industry.

Supplied in mill finish aluminium.
